Can’t say whether Romney is going to get upended in Michigan today, but it’ll be understandable.
To coin a phrase, “Its the bailout, stupid.”
And it is more lethal to Romney than it is to Santorum, even though they both opposed it.
Why? Its simple: Anyone who claims ‘home state’ status and could possibly oppose doing everything possible to save the auto industry is lucky to be able to get in and out of the state without being harassed.
Its a matter of loyalty and Romney has shown himself to have trashed any sense of loyality…except perhaps to those perfectly tall trees.
On the Santorum side, hey, nobody expected anything from him anyway.
