Dear Dr. Bob,
The media is acting like we don’t exist. We’ve sent them news releases, tweets, directed them to our web site, etc. and zilch. Nothing.
The campaign we’re running is to help keep two really awful candidates off the community college board. Here’s our web site: http://www.cleanboard.org/ What can we do?

Dear Frustrated,
Welcome to the club. Every campaign believes that they deserve attention from the media — and many do — but the media simply can’t cover every single campaign out there. For what its worth, even most congressional campaigns have the same problem.
In your case, you’ve managed to ‘out’ a couple of guys who, as you say in your video, “really don’t belong” anywhere near community colleges. One seems to be on a fast track to some kind of legal entanglement and the other was canned by the Catholic church for something having to do with the girls’ basketball team he coached.
About the best I can suggest is to keep hammering away at the media folks. They do tend to like stories that will make their readers/viewers sit up and take notice. This one looks to be right on target. Just don’t give up, eh?
